A trusty steed is the only way to travel in Mongolia. The horses here are well loved by their owners.

To bring down the yeti it was suggested that a gun may be sufficient. The rifle of choice was displayed to us by a gunshop owner in the capital. In fact we carried no weapons as we believed our quest to be peaceful and in that spirit there would be no need for violence should the yeti materialize.
